The club has TWO groups on Yahoo groups. These complement each other and serve diferent functions.

surreysb Group
The surreysb group is for SSTC members only. Parents can feel secure providing access - particularly for younger riders. It replaces the forum. It is a place for members to communicate, to wish each other happy birthday - or to discuss whether a Sherco is better than a Beta - or just prettier.

surreysbnews Group
The surreysbnews group is open for anyone to join, not just club members. This is a distribution group - posts can only be made by club officials. This is where we will post notices about new content on the web site ( including items for sale ) and important notices about changes to venues, times etc.

Joining
Club members should join both groups. Other visitors can only join the surreysbnews group - but you are very welcome.

Posting a message
To post a message to the surreysb group, simply send an e-mail to surreysb@yahoogroups.com.
Your e-mail will be copied to all the other surreysb group members - depending on the options they have set.
You can also upload pictures and files to share.
You can't post messages to the surreysbnews group

Receiving messages
There are several options.
You can choose to receive individual e-mails. When someone posts to the group you will, fairly quickly, recieve a copy in your inbox.
You can choose to receive a daily digest - all the e-mails that day, sorted into threads and bundles together into a single e-mail.
You can choose to read messages on the web site.
